ENGINEERING
HTAC employs a full-time HVAC engineering-team to develop products and systems to ensure that we stay at the leading edge of innovation in our market, whilst remaining fully compliant with the latest certifications and international requirements in the oil&gas industry.
Our engineers procedures include design and manufacturing for new installations and expansion-projects. We have experience to work with the current codes and compliance with the latest standards for the oil&gas industry.
We can offer you HVAC design, commissioning, system and lead-engineers.
TR-TEST
PFEER, Smoke & Gas Ingress, TR, TSR Integrity Testing
In order to comply with SI 1995 No 743, The Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire and Explosion, and Emergency Response) Regulations 1995 it is a requirement for the Offshore operator to prove compliance of all Temporary Refuges (TR) in accordance with this regulation.
PFEER defines goals for the preventive and protective measures necessary for managing fire and explosion hazards, and for emergency response. These goals allow duty holders the flexibility to develop detailed arrangements for each stage of an installation’s life cycle.
How can HTAC help you?
Certified specialists within HTAC company have extensive experience in the evaluation and testing of the porosity of TR’s against the infiltration of smoke, fume and noxious gas. We will conduct the required testing to meet the relevant regulations and each test is adapted to suit individual situations;
Definitions of TR Boundary
Pre-test surveys
Testing and Verification
Investigation of leakage paths
Thermal imaging
Smoke testing
Repairs to or replacement of modular doors
Repair to or upgrades of HVAC systems and components
Develop and provide a maintains-plan to minimize future problems
Hand over a full valid test-report
SURVEY
Our HVAC studies aim to help you identify the condition, functionality and energy-efficiency of technical HVAC systems.
Our ventilation surveys examine factors such as the system’s condition, documentation and maintenance standards, and the cleanliness and risks in terms of indoor air quality.
We also analyse the sufficiency of ventilation, the system’s energy efficiency and the condition of the automation system, as well as the comfort provided by the default values.
Testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) is necessary to confirm that an HVAC system is performing optimally to meet the requirements on board an offshore installation.
Test and studies can be such as;
Airflow verification
Fire-damper survey
System cleanliness
Room pressure measurements
PDT (Pressure Differential Transmitter) calibrations
Filter status
Fan and motor data readings
Flow transmitter verification
Decibel readings
Develop and provide a maintains-plan to minimize future problems
Hand over a full valid test-report
