Offshore Wind-farm

HTAC personnel have been awarded a position in the Dogger Bank , offshore wind farm project. The three topsides will be built in Thailand by Aibel on their Laem Chabang yard and the construction and commissioning phase will reach for several years. The wind farm will be located outside the coast of Great Britain and when completed it will supply 4,5 millions home in UK with electricity.

HTAC AS is happy to contribute in what would be the worlds largest offshore wind-farm when completed.

The standards and regulations is slightly different when it comes to the HVAC and the philosophy when not have to concern of any hydrocarbon gases or extended risks for fire externally of the module.

Leakage-Test of HVAC Ductwork

HTAC personnel currently running a leakage-test scope of the HVAC ductwork at Johan Sverdrup Phase 2 MSF module in Laem Chabang, Thailand. This includes producing procedures and test-packages, set-up the test rig, perform the test and hand over test-reports to the client.

The most practiced standard for Leakage-testing of ductwork is the DW-143 guide and Eurovent 2/2.

It is common to test about 10% of the total ductwork surface area and a variety of duct classes and systems
